Based on akii-seo, claude-seo, and seo-skill. PocketBase blocks published articles that fail required gates.

SEO (Google + social)

seo_title ≤60 chars, keyword near front seo_description 120–160 chars, unique, CTA slug short, hyphenated, matches keyword og_title / og_description / featured image + og_image_alt canonical_path if URL differs from /posts/{slug}/

Hugo theme outputs JSON-LD, sitemap, robots from sync.

AEO (Answer engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews)

quick_answer ≤40 words — direct answer first has_faq + FAQ records (FAQPage schema) Each H2 section stands alone (no “as mentioned above”) definition_blocks JSON: Term → one-sentence definition how_to_steps 5–7 steps, imperative verbs

GEO (Generative visibility — citations & stats)

geo_citations ≥1 authoritative source URL per major claim geo_data_points cited numbers (never invent) expert_quotes attributed quotes with source URL geo_tactic set: fluency | citations | statistics | quotations | authoritative

Avoid keyword stuffing — GEO study shows it hurts AI visibility ~10%.

AI crawlers & voice

llms_summary ≥100 chars — used in /llms.txt on sync speakable_summary — SpeakableSpecification schema search_intent informational / commercial / navigational / transactional meta_robots or noindex only when intentional twitter_card summary_large_image (default)

Links & entities

internal_links ≥3 related guides external_authority_links official / .gov / .edu where relevant entity_coverage JSON list of entities + authoritative profiles author with bio + schema sameAs word_count meets target_word_count (depth signal)
